Join us tomorrow as Rev. Julia speaks about "Discerning Our Common Purpose". About seeking our life path individually or collectively, as Unitarian Universalists, we responsibly search for truth and meaning. Using the spiritual practice of Quaker discernment, and our leadership retreat with Jonipher Kwong (regional rep) to inform our exploration, we will consider how to deepen our intention to discern our common purpose and grow into what is possible for High Plains Church.

Life is a constant interplay between the powers within us, for which we are responsible, and the powers outside of us, over which we have less control. But like a dance, life can be a co-creative process in which we sometimes lead and sometimes follow. Come explore the many ways we can choose to "dance more" in our lives and with those in our lives! Yesterday's message that Rev. Robert T. Latham delivered yesterday about how sometimes what we intend as good, turns into bad. And sometimes what we see as bad will turn into good, teaches the smaller lesson – that we don’t have complete control over the outcome of our intentions. The larger lesson is that either good or evil can become each other through the magic of social transformation. So when you experience evil in your life, just remember that perhaps it can actually become a shower of blessing
